Melanie started renting out a spare room in her two bedroom apartment in 2014 and has had great experiences since. She doesn't allow every single person to stay at her place, since she's sharing a bathroom and a kitchen with them.
Melanie always asks her potential guests for some information before she approves any bookings. Upon arrival, she makes a copy of their ID that she keeps just in case. Guests never make a big deal of it. A great way to add some security to the Airbnb hosting business!
