Melanie is an Airbnb host in Austin, Texas. She rents out a spare room in her apartment during South By Southwest, the popular music festival that takes place in Austin every year. Because the festival attract so many visitors, she was able to charge $250 per night for the room. She used the money to fund a trip to Costa Rica.
